Next Forum Meeting – Tuesday 5th March 2019 at 18:00-20:00 LCWIP Plans
Please find attached the LCWIP proposals map for cycling. It can be circulated to members of the Forum in advance of the meeting next week.
To put the plan into context, there are some points to note:
- The nodes (black circles) are defined by Government. They are population-weighted centres and are rarely at the actual start/finish points of individual cycling trips.
- The blue connecting lines are all straight, so don’t necessarily align with actual cycle routes on the ground.
- The red lines are routes with high potential for cycling in the future (taken from the “Propensity to Cycle Tool”).
- The lines don’t represent the entire network, just the primary routes; we recognise that further work is required to identify the rest of the cycling network.
